Is this rust release product good for removing rust off car rims

The WD-40 Specialist® 311g Rust Release Penetrant is not a rust removal product, but is a fast-acting penetrant with capillary action to penetrate deep into crevices, threads and seams to break the rust bonds that hold stuck parts together. It is a low odor formula that works on contact to free rusted nuts, bolts, threads, locks, and chains leaving behind a protective layer that prevents rust and corrosion from re-forming.

Hi can i use this to remove rust of chain for a bike

The WD-40 Specialist Rust Release Penetrant product is designed to break the bonds of rust that hold parts together, such as a rusted nut, and bolt. It does not act as a rust removal product, so would be unable to be used for this application on a bike chain.

Does it come with a long (extension) tube for spraying with?

Yes, the WD-40 Specialist 311g Rust Release Penetrant product does come with a tube that can be inserting into the nozzle to assist in getting into those hard to reach places, or simply to provide for a more targeted application of the product.

I’m so glad that I received this from Influenster in return for an honest review, because I normally would not have bought something like this. I went out to my garage and started testing this on tools, you spray and can wipe away the rust very quickly. It makes short work of a big task. I started walking around the house with it and spring door, hinges, and handles and gate latches. And so far it’s worked really well inside and outside in the cold. Not too strong of an order. I love this stuff there’s gonna be no more rest of this house.

I found this worked really well at fixing the squeaking of the hinges on my doors. The product itself was easy to use, but there was a gap in the seal between the tube and the nozzle, so it was dripping wd40 down the side after I was done spraying it on the 4 hinges. I was a bit frustrated by the mess. However, it's been weeks now and my doors are still working silently and smoothly.

It works really well on frozen/rusted/corroded nuts and bolts. I recently received this complimentary product to test and review and it couldn’t have come at a better time! My exhaust needed some repairs so I decided to use it to help with removing some rusty bolts on my car. Corroded exhaust bolts can be an absolute nightmare. Low and behold, after a good spray, and a little bit of waiting, for the product to work its magic, the bolts started loosening. It soaks through rust to make undoing stuff, like rusted nuts and bolts, a breeze. This product loosens everything. Fantastic product. It also prevents rust for up to one year. I would highly recommend. A little truly goes a long way!

I had a really tough stubborn rusted bolt doing some house work. I was unable to use the force as it was very delicate. I was able to get the job done by using WD40. I applied the WD and I was able to remove the stuck parts and loosen the rusted parts. The straw it comes with makes it easier to spray on one specific area. This is a great product.

I was very impressed with this rust release spray. I used it outside on my fireplace hinges where there was some rust. It worked well at freeing the rust corroded areas. I will also use this product on my cupboard hinges and any hinges that are getting tough or squeaky.

I used this on my vehicle where I was starting to get rust spots and WOOZAS! like a whole new paint job, it didn’t cause any damage to my vehicle and helped me beat the rust. It’s definitely a handy material to keep around the house, I can see myself using it for home jobs and other places where rust accumulates! 10/10 recommend

On window balances, it works very well, in fact can now push bottom sash up much easier. Also My front door's lock was not working very smoothly and before winter comes, I decided to use this WD40. After 1 application, it brought back my lock to new again.

I was very excited to try this and it did not disappoint. This removed all the rust from the door hinges in the house. I was afraid the formula was very runny and it would drip everywhere, but it didn’t cause too much of a mess which is amazing!
