I want to touch up an existing chalk board. Do I still need to use a latex primer?
If this is a slate chalkboard, a latex primer, such as Zinsser Bulls-Eye 123 is recommended. If the existing chalkboard is a painted chalkboard, no primer is required, just a good clean, and a light scuffing with 220 grit sandpaper.
