Can this be used to rough up a previously reglazed white kitchen sink, instead of sanding?
Hi Eva,
Great question! Our Rust-Oleum Bath and Tile Etching Cream would be ideal for roughing up a previously re-glazed white kitchen sink instead of sanding. Apply a medium to heavy quantity with a brush to the entire surface. Work in small sections at a time and the cream should sit 4 to 5 minutes and use plenty of water to remove the acid.

After appling the Rust-oleum Tub and Tile Etching Cream, how long do you have to wait before you apply the tub and tile epoxy?
Hi Eddy66,
Our Specialty Tub & Tile Etching Cream should sit on the surface for at least 4-5 minutes. However, different types of glass and porcelain may require different etching time frames. Once you have successfully etched, rinsed and dried the surface, you are ready to apply the Tub & Tile Refinishing kit.

how to use tub and tile etching cream? how long should i spay the tub paint after i apply etching cream? i sand or scratch etching cream after i apply etching cream? how long etching cream stay on tub?
Apply a medium to heavy coat of the etching cream to the area you wish to etch. Allow cream to sit 4-5 minutes. You can then rinse away the etching cream, or use a soft scraper to scoop it up, and return it to the tub. The etching cream can be reused. Rinse residue thoroughly, and allow surface to dry completely before painting.

Glass Etching
I bought this about a month ago to do glass etching and it works really well. It's a fair size tub so for crafting it will last me forever.
