This is the second one I've owned (third, counting another, smaller one), and the first one has lasted 20 years or so. Unless you have very high cupboards, it's usually just enough to get you what you need on the top shelf, and it's extremely sturdy and never slips. I also used it as a very low seat sometimes, because the surface is broad enough for an average-sized man. I've compared comparable step-stools, but never found one of equal quality.

I can't believe I was asked to review a step stool but I'll step up (on my step stool) and review this step stool on which I step on. If you need to step up your game or don't know what to buy your step parents, may I recommend this step stool. Good for regular parents too. Works for all ages of stepping steppers. Step it up with this step stool. You'll be glad you did. And it's white too so it gets dirty quick but it's a step stool after all, right?

Rated 5 out of 5 by D from Best 1-stepper ever I have had mine for 31 years. Great for reaching in closet top shelf, pantry top for those dishes used 2-times a year and for changing that light bulb above the fireplace. Rubbermaid makes great durable products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by catslave from A Great little stool! We have two of these nifty, sturdy little stools. We bought one about ten years ago and it has not broken yet. When we moved to a larger home we decided that we needed another one, so we bought one from Lowe's. I'm sure it will last just as well as my first one. Rubbermaid usually makes very good products and this is one of them.

It makes it a lot easier for him to get into my truck when we run errands or go to dinner. He is not a lightweight, and this works great.
