Description

This sturdy waste bin has a large capacity of 189 L. The Roughneck wheeled trash can is designed with durable materials to withstand harsh environments, cracking and denting. The wide wheels provide easy transportation for heavy loads. Built-in bag cinches are designed to hold the liner bag in place and prevent it from collapsing into the can.

We have some sneaky raccoons here. Would they break into this fast?

Racoons got into ours -- however, this was due to the garbage men tossing the can onto our driveway - the bottom cracked in a few places, and they were able to pry it open and have their day with the wet garbage in the bottom from this week's trash. Otherwise, this is an excellent product. For more then 2 years the varmints have not been able to breach the plastic. This would have continued had the garbage men not damaged the can. We'll be replacing it today - it's overall that good.

Is the garbage truck able to lift this like a Herby curby

I bought this and am very happy with it. The raccoons cannot get in our garbage anymore. I live in Pickering though and we don't have that type of garbage pickup yet.

They came lose and I am unable to figure out how to repair them. Seems like a very common problem on here and rubbermaid should change the design. This was an expensive garbage can for it to already be broke. I always have trusted rubbermaid but this isn't good. I am so dissatisfied.

I tried to glue the hat shaped metal retainer for the wheel but it kept on falling off. Now it’s missing! What an expensive piece of junk

Rated 2 out of 5 by Firestorm711 from Nice size and works well just not durable. I have purchased at least 8 of unit over the last 5 years. They do not hold up very well. My current unit began to split at the a few months ago, and now is basically unsuasible at less than a year old. I do expect these to crack during extreme cold weather, but my current problem began split @ the handle in May of this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MRL Ontario from Finally a decent affordable garbage bin! $70 vs the $150-220 for the commercial grade bins made this much more affordable for residential use! The wheels are large enough to go over rocks and bumps without issue, lid detached, it isn’t a flip open like the commercial grades but that’s fine for the price. Highly recommend if the price stays 1/2 - 1/3 of the standard commercial ones.
