Ignore other review.
These work fine. The other reviewer doesn’t know how to use them. You have to double the strap back the other way, or, yeah, it won’t hold if it just goes straight through. Perfect for tying down our kayaks.

Rubbish don’t lock
The clamps of these don’t hold or ‘auto lock’ at all. The straps will loosen even without any significant tugging
