Description
Rigid Stone Wool insulation sheathing board that is non-combustible, water repellent, fire resistant and sound absorbent. Easily cut, does not rot nor promote fungi or mildew. CFC and HCFC-free. Made from natural and recycled materials. 8 x 15.25 x 47'. R32. Stone wool. Covers up to 29.4 sq.ft.

Is this product suitable for insulating basement headers, or is there a better choice? What would I use to seal around it?
Comfortbatt® is applicable.
For the sill / header’s areas, you trim the batts to size the space, ensuring on the width dimension to measure the physical space and trim batt an inch wider to provide that pressure fit. On the depth and length dimension you would cut to the appropriate length and use the appropriate thickness for the depth of space
