Description
Rock-On screws are ideal if you are looking for an efficient fastening of cement boards (Hardie-Backer, Durock(R) or WonderBoard) and wood or lightweight steel studs. They feature a flat head with serrated contour for a firm, flush seating, which ensures a smooth, straight surface when installing tiling. The serrated thread and their sharp point allow quick installation and immediate pick up. Installation can be done with one hand using a drill/driver or a standard impact wrench, and the StikFit star drive featuring 6 points of contact (included). Each box contains 140 #9 x 1 5/8" screws.
- Serrated thread forms require less torque for faster installation
- Conforms to ANSI A108.11 standards for cement board attachment
- Use to attach cement board to wood or light gauge steel studs
- Patented sharp point offers immediate pick-up and eliminates the need to pre-drill
- Ideal for use in high moisture areas such as showers, backsplashes, countertops, and floors
- Premium corrosion resistant finish
- Patented design allows attaching close to edge on cement board, drastically reducing fractures or blow outs
- Serrated head design for flush seating even at an angle
- Star drive with T-25 bit provides stickpin for easy one-handed installation and eliminates cam-outs

Nice upgrade
These are nice upgrade from the previous screws that they had for Durock cement board, these groups are self tapping they drive themselves right in and they grab tight to the cement board and Pull It in without pulling through. Well worth the money. Take note there are two kinds one for Hardie board the others for Durock

Work Well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These work well but remember to set the clutch on the drill you're using. If you sink them too far, it will damage the concrete board.

Excellent Durock Fasteners
These are excellent cement backer board fasteners for when a collated screw gun is not available. The Torx head (bit supplied with screws) makes driving these screws very easy, compared to a competing brand that requires a Phillips drive. I used an impact driver to install about 10 sheets of cement backer board when replacing my kitchen floor, and I had nearly zero problems with these fasteners.

Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These screw's are for cement boards.they come with the star bit if u don't have one. The heads are bigger than a regular screw and the holding power is better for the soft boards. They're also rust resistant so no worries about them decomposing and staining soft tile. Worth the cost.

Worked as expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 boxes of these screws. It comes with a star bit which is great. But I didn't notice that someone had taken the bit out of one of the boxes. That's my only complaint.
