Description

Rock-On screws are ideal if you are looking for an efficient fastening of cement boards (Hardie-Backer, Durock(R) or WonderBoard) and wood or lightweight steel studs. They feature a flat head with serrated contour for a firm, flush seating, which ensures a smooth, straight surface when installing tiling. The serrated thread and their sharp point allow quick installation and immediate pick up. Installation can be done with one hand using a drill/driver or a standard impact wrench, and the StikFit star drive featuring 6 points of contact (included). Each box contains 750 #9 x 1 1/4" screws.

Be sure to have your screw gun / drill fully charged up and sometimes it’s easier to predrill holes particularly if you have a helper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobH from Good Product These are great heavy-duty screws. I had no problem with them securing Durock board. I particularly like the Star Drive bits myself. I had no difficulties with the heads countersinking into the board. Will definitely use these again.
