Just OK but no other option
Was painting a high hallway over basement stairs and this was my only option. Almost impossible to Not get paint on the ceiling even when you ensure the wheels are clean. My tip - don’t dip the pad part into paint - use a 1 1/2 inch brush to load the paint onto the top 1/2 of the pad. Only try to paint a foot or 2 at a time. I’m a good house painter and I can’t stand a messy job, so the overage on the ceiling will drive me nuts, but probably acceptable for most people. Better than nothing and because the wall was over stairs I couldn’t use a ladder.

Great tool, but avoid getting paint on the wheels
Used this to paint my bedroom and it works great. Once you get the right grip and figure out how hard to press, it's pretty easy. Only problem is that you have to be really careful not to get paint on the wheels when dipping the pad in your paint. If paint gets on the wheels, it can get on your ceiling when wheeling the pad across the edge, which kind of defeats the purpose. But if you're careful, it's a great tool and creates really clean, straight edges! (For greater control, I held it in my hand instead of screwing a broom handle on; that also made it easier to do the bottom edge of my walls.)
