can the stainless steel cartridge be installed horizontally on the wall as opposed to vertically?
Yes you can install it horizontally, but you need to be extra careful when removing the quartz dome for cleaning or replacement. It is brittle and can easily break if you are not careful while removing it horizontally. Secondly, it will be hard to drain the unit completely in case you winterize the home. Make sure that the lamp connector does not get wet from condensation. Install the ballast above the UV. If you have questions, please call Rainfresh at 1800-667-8072.

Misleading Photo
The 5 micron filter is not included. I had to go back at the store to get one. Makes no sense as the filter is pictured on the box as well. But the system seems to be working very well.
