Poor Quality
We purchased the first one of these 3 months ago at Lowes, it wasn't in 10 minutes and it started to leak water, fortunately we caught the leak right away. Upon inspection it was determined the top housing had a hairline crack in the plastic. So we returned it to Lowes and purchased another one, after a major flood with the second one, we noticed not one but 2 cracks in the plastic housing. We decided this brand was just poorly manufactured and will be returning it to Lowes. In the meantime we purchased a different brand from another retailer which has a metal fittings. My advice, save yourself some time and grief and go with a better quality system.

Good unit... no complaints
Surprised to see negative review here for this item. We've had ours for 2 years with no issues or leakage... just change the filters out every six months. I did however not use the saddle valve provided. Instead purchased a 3/8X3/8X1/4 compression tee and attached to the existing shutoff... much less likely to leak in the long term.

It leaks!!!
I bought it a couple of months ago and had it installed in our brand new kitchen. Recently it started leaking ruining our kitchen cabinet.
