5-micron (nominal) actived carbon, dual-duty replacement cartridge. Reduces taste, odour, chlorine andsediments. Fits DS3, DS2, CL2 drinking water systems and FC, EFC and CT500 water filters. Fits most standard water filters. Pack of 2.

Been using for two years now
I enjoy a good cup of coffee and our municipal water was very chlorinated. These carbon filters eliminate the smell and taste. I've used them up to 6 months with no chlorine smell but literature I've read says any filter like this will accumulate bacteria on the outside of the filter (like most filters) and should be changed every 3-4 months. Totally up to you. I highly recommend them, good price and does the job.
