Description
Rainfresh water softener makes water soft by removing hardness using a process called Ion Exchange. Hardness-causing calcium and magnesium ions are replaced by an equivalent amount of sodium ions. Sodium ions do not form scale, thus making the water soft, while maintaining its chemical balance. How difficult is installation?
Installation requires cutting main pipe and plumbing in the inlet, outlet and drain connections of the unit. If you have done plumbing before it is quite easy especially if you use the connector kit (Rona SKU # 330064569).
