Good Product
I purchased this product to secure a mailbox post. I was very apprehensive about the product because I had never used cement before and because there was warnings about severe burns to your skin. I purchased the yellow dish washing gloves and did not encounter a problem. I would suggest that you gradually add more cement and more water because I mixed a small amount and that went well but then decided to all the rest of the bag and water and had difficulty getting the sand in the bottom to mix well, I had to put my hand in and stir (glad I had the gloves). If I use this cement again I will mix a small amount at a time. It also set very quickly. In about five minutes it was no longer necessary to hold the pole level and it dried hard in about 30 minutes. I waited for several hours to install the mailbox on top.

Worked well
Very easy to use. When they say you have to work it quickly they are right. I set a handrail with two anchors. Proportions recommended 5 parts powder to one part water. I needed to use a little more water (1.5 measure) for the second anchor as the first one set up to quickly. Very solid product.

I used Quikrete Anchoring Cement to secure rough iron railing that had worked it way out of concrete porch. Drilled 4" hole, added 2 1/2" rebar rods, filled with anchoring cement and after about 30 minutes solid railing support. It worked as advertised.

Works great
I used this to anchor 1/2 inch eye screws into the concrete to anchor my shed. Drilled 4 holes, put the anchor concrete in the holes, then placed the screws. Holds great. No chipping or weak spots. I’m sure I can find some other things to try it on, but I’m sure the results will be the same.

Quick setting
This material sets so quickly that you might not be able to use it while it’s still pourable. Hard to judge how low to mix it before using it. Try a small amount at first and use exactly the 5:1 cement to water ratio.
