Quiet, quiet, quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As advertised this compressor is extremely quiet. My P-C pancake compressor I used to have to put outside the house and run hoses into the hose just to keep the noise down while working with the family in the house. This one I will be able to keep inside. Drain valve is already a ball valve (which I had to upgrade myself on the PC) and the hose connect has a quick connect fitting (vs threaded on the PC). Be aware it is heavy but the handle is well positioned for lifting it.

Solid performer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this air compressor after going through THREE California Air Tools compressors, all of which leaked terribly. I'll admit, California Air produces a slightly quieter compressor, but this Campbell Hausfeld is clearly better built. There's not even a question when you look at the two models side by side. My only major complaint is that this compressor seems to take a while to reach 125 PSI. I timed it, and it landed on 2:40 consistently. Ideally, this tank would fill up in just 2 minutes like the California Air 5.5 gallon. However, that's a small complaint, and what's another 40 seconds really? Definitely would recommend this product for a finish carpenter who's wanting to use air on sight without wrecking their client's eardrums. Solid performer.

Really Quiet - Does the Job for Tires and Blowgun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect light duty compressor for quick repairs to my travel trailer, and maintaining tire pressure. I also use a blowgun to dry off my bikes after washing. Works great for this light duty type of work. When they say half the noise...they mean it. Extremely quiet. Be sure to read the break in instructions in the owner's manual prior to getting started.
