Rated 2 out of 5 by MariePo from Décevant J’ai acheté 5 portes comme celle-ci afin de compléter les rénovations de la maison. Après les avoir teints et vernis, j’ai retiré la pellicule protectrice pour réaliser que le givrage était abîmé à plusieurs endroits (malgré un emballage qui semblait adéquat). Lorsque nous avons percé les trous pour la poignée, nous avons réalisé que la porte était en fait recouverte de plaquage de bois et non de bois massif, ce qui a créé un énorme éclat en retirant l’emporte-pièce. Nous n’avions pourtant eu aucun problème avec des portes similaires achetées dans une autre quincaillerie et à moindre prix (en bois massif).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Doorguy from Nice, solid door. Don't listen to the bad reviews, I almost didn't buy the door because of how much apparent trouble it gave the other reviewers. However contrary to their experience, the protective film peeled off without issues. The veneer didn't split either drilling the door knob and beveling/trimming the door on both sides. (Hint, if you drill the knob from both sides as it is common practice, you won't pop off the veneer - user error not the product's fault). The door itself was perfectly straight, not warped and entirely solid wood, amazing value when bought on sale. The protective film is a great idea, saved a lot of time compared to masking tape (cut around edges with a box cutter and peel off). Would've personally just stained or clear coated it as the factory finish looked great, but had to be painted to match the rest of the room. Great buy, would recommend.

A huge chunk of wood veneer broke off when drilling the hole for the door knob (as shown in photo). The plastic on the windows is hard to get off as it's under the wood itself, seemingly in one giant sheet. We had to cut all the plastic out as close to the wood as we could get. This door is terrible and I am so angry I spent money on this... Even if it was on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sesh from Good if you know what to expect Yes this is veneered, and the film can leave a bare spot on the satin finish but this can be fixed with varnish thinner. it is the glue having bled onto the glass. extra work considered this is a good door for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Christine from poor quality After staining the door I removed the protective film over the glass window part and it removed part of the frosting on the glass. It wouldn't be so bad if it all came off but just enough came off to make it obvious that it should be frosted. After all that trouble to install and finish a new door I'm left with a product that looks terrible!
