Are hinges and a latch included?

Have improvementa been made to ensure steel corners are manufactured square?

Hello Sir, We always keep a quality control to be sure the four (4) square ( triangle shape ) bracket are always 90 degree. However as we produced a few pieces a years, it might possible that a pieces slip the quality control. We do offer an full 5 year warranty on our product, the store will replace the faulty piece. Thanks

My wife and I are not professional installers, in fact, we are retired and did nothing remotely associated with carpentry in our working life. We bought this kit and decided to do our own thing. We were pleased at just how easy it was to use the picture instructions on the box to make a gate to fit the two 4X4 posts we installed. Kit even came with 2 extra screws! We used cedar so our gate was light and easy to move around. The project was completed in two hours and we could not have paid anyone to do a better job. We would highly recommend this product to anyone. For the price, you cant beat it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Brooky from Terrible product Buying this product should make building a gate simple. Right? But three out of four of the inside corner gussets were NOT 90 degrees! How are you supposed to build a nice square gate when the hardware is not square? I improvised using some shims and washers and got it to work, but that defeats the whole idea of buying this kit. Terrible product!! If the option was there to give it zero stars, I would have.

The kit is okay for light service but get a heavier frame for larger or frequently used gate. The supplied screws are weak & I snap several. Discarded supplied screws and reassembled with better deck screws. Check the square of angles before screwing together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Woodstock from Gate making easy and quick. Kit was complete including the screws. All corners were good right-angles. Instructions for assembly on back of box or on-line company website. Assembled the timber to make a strong square frame using some purchased 2 x 4's, which I had double checked when cutting them. Screws driven in firmly with no breakage ( as some reviews). Made my tall gate using some long 6 foot planking. Pleased with the end result.

Brackets and hinges were fine, but the provided screws were pathetic. So thin the first one snapped in two as I put it in the wood. I had some heavier gauge screws in my workshop and assembly was trouble free after that

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from not square and cheap Built a 2 doors gate made of cedar (42 and 55 inches wide but cedar is light). Bought 2 different door kits at Rona and this one was used for the larger door as the specs and price was higher on this one. I had help through the project and could oversee everything (shed, gates, fence...) and realized after a friend finished assembling the door how cheap this kit was. The door with this kit was not square and was sagging. The boards and planks were cut, assembled and clamped - it was too late. I will rebuild the gate that was built with this product (455$ worth of material). What a mistake... don't buy this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jadeboy from Cheap! Works as described. Was easy to use, cheap.. 2 negatives.. low quality wood screws.. should use something better.. not perfect 90 degrees.. fix by bending just a little... but for the price.. hard to beat.
