Description
The PureGuardian(R) 90-hour ultrasonic warm and cool mist humidifier guards against problems caused by dry air in your home. It features a 1.32 Gallon tank, ideal for use in medium sized rooms. The Silver clean protection is embedded in the tank to fight the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the water tank. The ultrasonic technology disperses a fine warm or cool mist into the air. Smart mist sensor monitors the level of humidity in the room and adjusts to your selected level. The humidifier is equipped with an easy to use digital display, a night light, timer and a 3-speed mist control. A low water indicator light lets you know when it's time to refill the water tank. Note: run time is based off of running the unit on low setting and cool mist, also depends on atmospheric conditions.

Not great
We reluctantly used this all winter, to justify the price, but we didn’t like it at all. First of all it emits this bright blue light (counterintuitive to what you’re supposed to have in the bedroom) and when the humidity is below a certain point, the display blinks. Secondly, to get it even close to a reasonable level of humidity, you’d have to close the bedroom door and that makes it like sleeping in the bathroom with the shower running. Thirdly, there is now an annoying film to our windows and other surfaces. So, not pleased with this purchase, and the price point is high for a small humidifier. Expected better.

below average for the price
We've had this unit for about 8 months. We use it in our bedroom.
Pros:
- It does create an ultrasonic mist, and it hasn't broken.
Cons:
- The controls are a human interaction disaster... good luck trying to see the buttons and control this in dim light, and have fun with the one random button that toggles through multiple key functions. Very poorly thought out interface.
- The blue light. seriously. We like our bedroom dark. I bet most people do. Even if you turn off the giant blue orb light (via the multiple-purpose button), you still have to contend with ultra bright blue LEDs. Our solution is to drape a heavy towel over the unit.
- Water. The unit is relatively easy to pop off and fill. You will definitely get some drippage when you pull the tank off.
All in all, it's a fine humidifier with a horrible interface and a high price tag. The price makes it hard to recommend this over humidifiers that you can obtain for half the price.

A good buy
I have been using it almost non-stop for more than a month now, no issues except for deposits on the disc and around it that need to be cleaned once a week or so with the enclosed brush. I assume that installing a filter or adding some demineralization liquid may help with that and I'll try this in near future.
