Rated 5 out of 5 by Gator45 from ProMIx Strong and Resilent Grass Seed 5 in 1 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ProMIx Strong and Resilent Grass Seed 5 in 1 has to be one of the better grass seeds I have tried over the past 7-8 years. Normally in my climate it is somewhat challenging to get the right amount of seed and water on the ground to enhance the ability of the grass seed to take root. If you diligent follow all of the instructions you will get that beautiful verdant grass on your lawn. I used it for a the areas of my lawn that had large patches of dying or dead grass and it has started to fill in quite nice. At this rate I should have a healthy verdant lawn in the coming year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Let it grow from Seems to work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this over seed and fill in a few thin spots in my yard over the course of a month so take this as you will. There was also a short cold snap during the germination time, but I don't think it affected it to much. I do like that the bag says this should have no weed seeds which is a plus. Because I used it to over seed, it's hard to tell where it sprouted, but the area of the lawn that was seeded is now a deep lush green. The original grass benefited from the fertilizer as well. I will probably wait a week or two before mowing since the weather is favorable to more growth.

The area is shaded in the morning and gets late afternoon sun. It has to put up with pets and family traffic and this is Texas so drought is another issue! I decided to try the strong and resilient grass seed as it covers all these issues. After preparing the area, I scattered the seeds evenly and then mixed them into the top soil and gave them a good water. I followed instructions to keep moist for 10 days, shoots started appearing after about a week and we are on track for a luscious green lawn this summer.

Grow grass behind my shed. The area get a ton of shad and the ground stays moist most to the time. I was able to spread the seed and watch it grow. It covered the area it said and took hold almost immediately. I was very please with the product and it resiliency in a very shady and almost always damp area of the yard. I would recommend to anyone looking to fill in a “dead” spot in the lawn, and best part you don’t have to have a green thumb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cmflo17 from Excellent Grass Seed [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pro Mix Strong and Resilient Grass Seed 5 in1 is for sure what you need for your grass, that is walked on constantly, kids playing on as well as pets too and has both a shade and sunny exposure. This grass seed is a 5 in 1 which includes different things to help you grow grass thick and lush where you need it. I really like the fact that this is a sun shade mix as that is how the grass in my yard is, both in and out of sun and shade. This grass seed looks promising and my grass is growing in greener and fuller than before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by raymv1987 from Sturdy Grass Mix [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been watching this grow for the past few weeks, and it blends well into my back yard. My front is one specific type of grass, and the back is more of a mix so I put it there. I was excited when I saw the first little sprouts and they are filling out nicely. They have held up to minor traffic so far, and I expect this mix of grass to do well when heavier traffic, such as pets, walk over them. There were a few places I had to level and start fresh and some I was just patching. This seed mix works well for both!

Rated 5 out of 5 by frostbite from Easy to use and fast results [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used PRO-MIX Premium Strong & Resilient Grass Seed - 5 in 1 in my back yard that my dogs use more than anything. I had several areas that had been worn down from heavy traffic from both the dogs and from us going back and forth to the shed. I cleaned the areas and loosen the soil before spreading the seed. It was very easy to distribute. For the first week we made sure to water daily since it has been unseasonably warm and we made sure to keep the dogs and any foot traffic off the areas. We notice growth within about a week and it has continued to grow. We will be doing the entire yard since we like how nice and full the patchwork looks compared to the rest of the yard.

Its mainly clay so anything other than weeds dont seem to like to grow. I had an area where my dogs had ran a mud trail through my front yard. I till up the area to loosen the soil snd put this seed down. I watered it 2 times a day for the first week but then we had alot of rain so i didnt water anymore. With in about 3 weeks i had noticable grass growing in majority of the area. The seed didnt take in some areas but over all it worked. So i cant say the lack of growth in other areas is due to the seed or more likely my soil and lack of nutrients in it. But im very impressed with how it did work and i will try again in the other spots.
