This product is only good for non-profession home owner usage. Even though I believe in Craftsman Tools I will say if you want a tape measurer that is solid, strong and will stand the test of time, do not purchase this one it fails the test.

I'm a flooring installer, and I'm constantly making measurements. after that much use, the self locking mechanism stopped being dependable. Everything else is fine, but for what I'm doing, I need my tape to lock.
