I saw this online and went to the local Lowes to pick it up. The unit I'm replacing has been broken for years. It would open with no problem but it wouldn't close using the crank. This part fit perfect with no modifications and it now works as it was intended. I was even able to use the same crank cover and handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace an old window casement crank system that had long been broken. I felt that the instructions could have been a bit better overall. I was able to get the new one on after some trial and error and it works. The instructions were just a bit vague, in my opinion.
