I have a fireclay farmers sink (thick), my question, is the drain deep enough that I will have enough thread exposed underneath the sink once I go to tighten it.

The drain opens up to an inch with at least 3/8" of thread still left. I used it in my Franke fireclay farmers sink and it works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by angela from worthless [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With in one month of having 2 of these in our sinks the bronze wore off leaving cooper which does not go with my black and white kitchen which was why I got these to begin with. Now not even 3 months later the rubber stopper is falling off of one of them. You can see they are not cheap but ohhhh yes they are runnnnn. Don't buy

Rated 5 out of 5 by tia1004 from Back to Cooking in the Kitchen Finally, my installation is complete after an April purchase!! Well worth the wait. Contractor had no challenges with the install. The design is sleek and beautiful, the function is a noticeable improvement and it looks beautiful with the hood range and drawer microwave. My only wish is that the middle section of the stove could be used as a warmer, however, I am very happy with my package that encourages me to spend more time in my kitchen trying new recipes. Thank you Range Hood Store.

I installed it almost a year ago now and has had no noticeable fading of it finish. Perhaps local water ph and mineral content plays a role? I can’t say. It does the job, it looks nice, and has held up well.
