Is this system compatible with the Dewalt tstak system?
Yes, 100% compatible. Only the colour is different. It’s all made by Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) who make Dewalt, Stanley Fatmaxx (available at Rona in Canada) and now Craftsman.

Can you lock the top two boxes to the bottom one. And can more boxes be added on top.
Yes, you can lock all of them together! You can add to the existing unit but only with the locking mechanism that exist in this system. I purchased the drawers and a carton which locks all together from the bottom to the top. However, you have to consider how much weight you put into each container. The handle and wheels can only handle so much weight.
I am very happy with my system but is not as durable as the Dewalt and Rigid systems. I have both of those systems and like them equally to the Craftsman for different reasons.

Just ok
The idea of this modular toolbox is appealing but definitely has some deficiencies. I needed better tool organization for the jobsite and this idea seemed to fit the bill. This problem is when the upper boxes are loaded it is very top heavy and unstable which is a safety concern when in a customers home. The plastic hollow wheels could be better, I have concerns with longevity. The availability of a smaller box with clear top for Brad and pin nails would be nice. I am 6' tall and find the retracted handle quite short requiring me to bend at an uncomfortable level to transport.
For the price and light duty homeapplications it may be just fine.

Great for heavy tools
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The biggest problem I have had with tool boxes is once full, they are too heavy to get in and out of the truck. This is 3 separate components so the loading and unloading is easy.I also purchased the 2 drawer case to add to this which allows easy access to everything. No problems with durability despite very heavy tools.
Ground clearance is a problem as it is only about an inch so this will not work on an irregular surface or dirt construction site. Having said that, I have used a hand truck to move this on those surfaces without difficulty.

Triple box tool carrier
Overall this is a really great tool storage system. The idea is super. The two top boxes serve their purpose perfectly. The bottom box not so much. The gauge of plastic on the bottom box is too thin. The flex in the bottom box walls allows the storage tray to fall into the box. The wheels are plastic and do not like the transition over thresholds and steps. Love the concept but a little disappointed in the quality. Of course it has the Craftsman limited lifetime warranty but the material problems cannot be corrected by the warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good: Wheels turn; latches latch; and, handle moves up and down.
No so good: Unstable unless you have significantly more weight in the bottom unit than the top two. Except for the dividers in the top unit, there are no trays, dividers, or compartments. Irregular shape causes unnecessary "obstructions" inside the cases. Handle does not extend enough to make it comfortable to pull the unit. Hollow plastic wheels seem like they will wear out quickly if you need to carry a heavy load -- if you don't need a heavy load, why would you need a wheeled unit.

Great flexibility
I bought this about 3 months ago and I use it 5 days a week, I love that I can leave a box at home or in my truck and not have to bring everything with me if I have a small job. I bought an additional box that I keep different tools in so I can switch out which ones I take with me by just clicking it onto the case without fumbling around for what I need, I know what's in each box. I wish there were more options and/or the box with the small compartments were a little more customizable. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because one of the wheels cracked in the back and now it's a little wobbly but hopefully will still last me a long time.

Has an area of weakness
I debated buying this for a while. Conceptually functional but was concerned in how the handle connected to the lid of the bottom box. Poorly designed plastic connection. Not surprisingly on first use with about 45 lbs on top of the bottom box it broke away. Being that I did like the concept I designed a more durable alternative and fixed this weak area. Have used twice with same load with no new issues photos of my fix below.

Great Organizer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband can never find his tools. They're all over the place. His work bench is a mess. This Craftsman Storage Tower is wonderful. I organized all his tools according to size and space. This also has compartment for drill bits, and containers for anything you wish to put into it(screws, nails, sockets, etc.). Now all he needs to do is wheel the entire tower where he wishes, or carry one or two of the tool boxes to desired location. Now everything is organized ,clean and neat. We both are thrilled with this!!

This is great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this rolling container unit to carry my tools to and from my truck everyday as we have several job sites that are not always secure.
It holds everything I need and still has room for more, easily detaches into its separate units for easy loading in the truck & quickly snaps together to roll to work area.
My only complaint would be it needs a longer handle - Im of average height but have to stoop some to pull the unit
- and a little more clearance under the wheels for going over rough terrain.
Again, GREAT product for the price and I am already considering a second one.
