poor performance built
used once cut 1/2 cord wood now doesn't split, binds up once hit the log.

Works well
This 5 ton unit works well but could use some minor modifications. The pusher is a little too short, if it were about 2 or 3 inches higher and had better “points” instead of the single “bump” in the middle it would be excellent. As it is, if the log is cut on a slight angle it will want to pop out. It can be counter by using an angled wedge of wood to create a 90 degree pushing surface. With a perfect 90 cut on both ends it works awesome and is well worth the price.
