I am going to build a fire coffee table for this burner. Can this be mounted directly on a wood table top or does there need to be some sort fire protection that it needs to be mounted to?
Ours is mounted to a metal skirting around the wood box ... so not directly in contact with the wood

Self Igniter did not work
Self igniter did not work and Lowe’s doesn’t do exchanges you have to dismantle and return and then reorder ... in the meantime the price went up ... so I was out of luck ... customer service said to contact the manufacturer .. all this complicated run around for this time

Instructions for conversion to MY were poor. But, all the (2) parts were there and the burner was a good price. I am happt.
