Description
Go for the decorative look of nuts and bolts, but with the simplicity of installation of wood scews. These Outdoor Accents(R) strucural screws by Simpsons Strong-Tie(R) can be used with 4" and 6" lumber sizes and can withstand wind or seismic loads. In addition, their black powder-coated finish make them weather-resistant.
- Use with Outdoor Accents decorative hardware and STN22 hex-head washer (sold separately) for an appealing look
- Use the Outdoor Accents structural screw without the washer as a wood-to-wood fastener
- Patented SawTooth point ensures fast starts, reduces installation torque and eliminates the need for predrilling in most applications
- Under-head nibs offer greater control when seating the head
- Deep 6-lobe T40 recess provides easy, secure driving (T40 drive bit included)
- Length: 3-1/2-in
- Black double-barrier coating provides a premium look while providing a medium level of corrosion protection for many outdoor applications
