Rated 4 out of 5 by Warren from Decent Base, however looks "cheaper" in person [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] True dimensions, solid base. Our floor was level so we didnt use and leveling cement under the base, and so far it holds weight just fine. Down side is that the cover looks less appealing in person that in the pictures, and actually looks "cheap". The notches in the cover are the main culprit in this. Also the drain itself isn't as flush to the pan as I would like, it creates a slight lip that water can rest on. Previous base did not have this issue. Still good base though and would recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cindy from Don't recommend This shower base has been a nightmare. Not long after we started using it we realized something was leaking. We thought it was the tile walls we surrounded it with, but after tearing some out we realized the problem was the flange that silicones to the base to prevent water from spilling out and down the wall. The silicone (we used the recommended brand) did not stick to the flange so it leaked. We tore it apart and used a better silicone, but just discovered it too is not sticking and water is again leaking out. Fortunately my husband is pretty clever and has come up with a plan to use fiberglass to fashion a taller, water-tight flange. If that doesn't work we'll have to tear out the entire base and install a new one. If it comes to that, hopefully we'll be able to salvage most of the tile wall and not have to redo the entire shower. We do not recommend this shower base!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Fishman from Caution with this one! Actual assembled dimension when you add the supplied strips for the slides is more like 60.5 inches. Good luck fitting it into a typical frameout without a lot of extra work! Screws supplied to attach the sides are also too small to secure them tightly. In short, you can probably do better with another choice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Manny from Hole Along Drain Corner [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a solid base, after install I noticed like several others that there are manufacturing errors along the French drain portion. I didn’t notice the hole in mine until I stood right over it. I don’t know what to do now, I can’t use the newly renovated shower without risking water damage. Not going to rip it out and require more work on tile install either. Need a refund ASAP.

Well packaged, great videos online for installation. Looks modern and has clean lines. May need anti-slip strips as other reviews indicated for some users.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dan from Forget this one!!! VERY disappointed with this base. The front is actually sloped in the wrong direction so that water draining from the glass wall channel runs out onto the floor instead of into the shower. I will never buy an OVE product again!!!!
