Oatey's 140 series brass No-Caulk shower drain is designed for use with preformed shower stall bases, with a drain body that seals to the shower base with a fibre and rubber washer. Includes stainless-steel strainer.
- Includes stainless-steel strainer
- Universal 4-1/4-in round Snap-tite(TM) strainer
- Mechanically attach over 2-in Schedule 40 DWV pipe, no caulking required
- Designed for use with preformed shower bases
- Ideal for slab construction
- Included drain cover helps keep drain clear of unwanted items to keep it flowing freely with fewer clogs
- Strainer snaps onto the drain body after installation
- Drain top also accommodates Oatey 4-1/4 in. Universal Snap-Tite Strainers, available in a variety of designer finishes (not included)
- Pipe and gasket not included

In the last image (https://cdn.rona.ca/images/11205192d_L.jpg), it shows the drain is a tiny bit elevated compared to the lowest part of the shower pan.. If water pools here, what happens and where does it go?
