Description
The Nuvo Iron exterior gate frame is durable, easy to install and designed for a 47-in opening. Made of robust galvanized steel, the unit is sold with the mounding hardware. Complete the installation with 8 standard fence boards of pressure-treated wood or vinyl. The post caps and the boards are not included. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

Can the gate hinges be attached to an already existing metal post that is part of a frost fence (chain link fence) or must they be attached to wood posts? Thanks.
These hinges can be installed to square metal post. The gate is designed to attach to wood or steel post but the hinges are flat. This means the post need to be square.

Flimsy bottom
Product looks good on a picture and when you are just looking at it from a far ,but its very flimsy on the bottom side where there is no latch. I recommend installing a second latch on the bottom of the gate to stop it from moving

Gate is nice but screws are cheap and broke 3 screw heads during install. Also missing screws. Contacted company to ask for replacements but no response back.
Also fence boards had to be ripped down to fit initially but once installed they shrunk quite a bit so maybe I should have acclimatized the wood to cold air before install.

Wrong instructions
It doesn't take 8 panels, it actually takes 7 1/2 panels so have jig saw or something to cut the last panel. They should had included some water proof light fake boards with it even if they charge extra for it. Using wooden boards make it extra heavy for no apparent reason. Also they should have added in the manual to put cardboard under the gate when assembling it as it gets easily scratched and paint comes off if you do it on cement.

7 3/4 board gate, 8 won't fit!
Have to cut about 1 inch off the side of one board in order to fit 8 regular 1x6, fence boards. Tried to assemble with 8 full boards hole an inch from lining up.
