Description
The Nuvo Iron exterior gate frame is durable, easy to install and designed for a 36 1/4-in opening. Made of robust galvanized steel, the unit is sold with the mounding hardware. Complete the installation with 6 standard fence pressure-treated wood or vinyl boards. The post caps and the boards are not included. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

Thank you for the question. Yes the gate can attach to metal post. fasteners to attach the gate to metal post must be purchased separately. We recommend using a concrete footing for any post you plan to swing a gate from.

Can it be used in a double gate installation. One side left opening and one side right opening?

Do not buy
Incredibly stupid product. Standard fence board does not fit in the frame, the channel is too narrow. Maybe if you smash it in with a sledgehammer. Maybe.

Gate sagged after a couple years just like a wood gate.

Weak and loose at the bottom
We bought this for a client and because it's attached at the top,the bottom is not very sturdy. If you push on it you can push at leat 6inches without any effort. Which makes this gate not very secure at all!

Great Quality
We bought this to have it installed on our deck. It looks amazing & our contractor had no issues putting it together and installing it at all. We bought pressure treated lumber to use in it. He thought it was really good quality too.
