We installed a new patio and hardtop gazebo and needed a light for it ... After looking at different sites we decided to purchase this one as it was a plug-in as opposed to a hardwire installation, and its height is adjustable via the chain ... I also have it hooked up to a remote control and turn it on from inside the house ... It sheds a good amount of light (depending of course the wattage of bulb you use) and helps at night when taking the dog out for her evening sabbatical, and snow removal in the winter ... We're happy with the purchase ...
