Description

Keep organized, and maximize overhead storage space in your garage with the New Age Products Pro Series wall mounted steel shelves. This 4-ft x 8-ft shelf gives you 32-sq. ft. area for holding luggage, camping gear, and other bulky items you need cleared from your garage floor. Stack multiple shelves, connect them side-by-side, build around corners, install tight to the ceiling or mid-wall; there's no wrong way to use this storage system. Our aircraft-grade steel support cables are tested to 3000 lb for a safe solution that's adjustable to your stud spacing. The heavily engineered frame is constructed from thick gauge steel and a C-Shaped front perimeter beam, for a shelf that easily supports loads up to 600 lb. The steel wire decks drop securely into the cross beam supports for even weight distribution, and a 1-in perimeter safety lip prevents items from sliding off the edge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anthony from Great product Really solid shelf (4foot by 8 foot) to hold a lot of storage I installed it 24 inches from ceiling but the product support 18" - 30" drop I installed it myself. If I hadn't had to install an 8' back beam (they recommend 2" x 8", I installed a 2" x 4") due to the brackets not lining up with the studs in my wall, the installation would have been a piece of cake. It was easy regardless. Once you secure the wall beam and ceiling mounts (I installed ceiling mount, but the product supports wall mount), the side, front beams and racks go in real easy. The racks allow for the dust to go through as opposed to gathering, a key feature I was looking for. Great value!

The 2' x 4' wall mounted shelf is a great addition to my shop. The construction of the shelving unit is similar to the Pro Series cabinets in looks and quality. The shelving unit can be stacked vertically or assembled together depending on your space. I installed the shelving unit myself but it would be easier with a friend as the shelving unit is on the heavy side. I plan on installing additional shelving units as I expand my shop.

It was easy to install especially for such a large product and came in compact packaging on arrival. Once up it held so much more than we were expecting all why still looking minimal and taking up little visual space which was important to me. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone looking to maximize their above ground storage. We will most likely buy additional shelves in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clarence from Solid Build, Wish it had some enhancements It's a solid product. well built and looks like it can withstand a lot. My only gripe is that because the top mounting brackets are attached via steel wire, the platform itself is not fixed solid in place, which means I cannot put a ladder up against it and it can move upward when pushed from below. otherwise the grates and lip are nice to prevent things from sliding off. Also because I wall mounted, it is hard to access this shelf from the side. I wish I had ceiling mounted so I could pick things off when standing to the side of the unit, not only from the front.

Rated 5 out of 5 by stu from Great Shelf for the garage [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shelf is perfect for my garage. The assembly was very easy, piece by piece in place. I did not have to pick up a big assembly which made putting it together by myself easy. This is the second shelf I have installed above my garage door where I have about 32 inches of height available for storage. The cable support for the outer edge was perfect for mounting to a ceiling joist which was 4 to 6 inches further out than the shelf depth. A rigid support would have been more difficult to use. The pricing was also good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rspgarland from Instructions need work The 2x8 shelf was set up in a couple hours. The instructions need to be more clearer. The instructions used "X" to mark placement spots that could be mistaken as "do not place here". The hanger plates had 2 holes for securing to wall, but only 1 hole needs to be used to secure the hanger plate. It took me awhile to figure this out from the instructions. This could have been explained clearer. The wire shelves fit as explained except for one that sit next to one of the hanger arms which appeared to be out of alignment. The instructions also show a way to mount the shelves by separating and stacking one 2x4 on top of the other 2x4 shelf. With the 2x8 kit this is not possible as there are not enough parts in the kit to allow stacking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by SDN22 from Well made product, but missing hardware Overall it is a nice product very well built but in trying to assemble I found missing hardware which prevents assembly. In working with customer service I am told the replacement hardware will not be available for over a month and nothing else can be done. So I am stuck with a product partially assembled and can not do anything with it while I wait over a month for the hardware. For this reason I would consider looking at other options because of the headache of not being able to install and I am not going to take apart just to try and return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AAF 1 from Great shelves I purchased two of these. So far they seem great. I have no issues with them. I will update my review and give five stars if they continue to function well. One thing is it would be nice if the steel cables were a little longer, however if you follow the directions the length they give you works out perfectly (however doesn’t give much variability should u want to hang the front end off of the ceiling and have a high ceiling.
