Big grill with nice features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill has a much larger cooking area than my former grill and I love the space saving feature of the sides dropping down. This allows the grill to be tucked in a niche on my patio. I’ve only cooked hot dogs and hamburgers so I will be interested to see how the wavy ceramic grill grate works for steaks. All of my former grills were purchased preassembled so assembling this one was very frustrating and time consuming. I cannot wait to try the smoker box for some Mesquite chicken.
Overall, I would recommend this grill but save yourself the headache and buy it preassembled, if possible.

Does not sear…!
While the grill gets very hot, it will not sear, no matter how high the burners are turned, no matter how long you let the grill warm up. Useless for steaks, seafood or burgers. Works fine for chicken or things that need to cook a little longer. Would have retuned it if I could, but as I had to borrow a truck to buy it and bring it home, I couldn’t get it back to the store. Tried calling customer service but wasn’t able to wait the more than an hour hold time I was quoted. I don’t think there is anything wrong with the grill, it gets hot, just a design flaw with the burners too low from the grates. I would definitely not recommend this grill! Basically useless.

Works very good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill works really good!! I do a fair bit of of outdoor cooking and usuaully don'tont like propane do to the flair ups but this grill doesn't seem to have that problem. The assembly was a bit difficult bit was under 2 hours with 2 of us. The initial cook went extremely smooth. During cook down I did notice the grill has a place for a rotisserie which I thought was a nice option. I haven't used the smoke box but it looks simple enough and seems to be a good idea. All and all I was pleasantly surprised but the quality of the grill but thought the assembly could have been much better explained on the instructions.

So far I have only used for stakes it did an excellent job it seared well and they came out at the doneness I was looking for. I followed the cook times in the manual. It is well made and all parts that are part of the fire box are stainless except for the grates which are cast iron. If you prefer stainless grates they are optional. The bottom of the fire box is stainless and slides out so it can be easily cleaned this part was always a problem in grills I have had in the past it was hard to clean and it rusted out but they have eliminated that problem with this grill. So far I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t used the smoker box yet.

Loving it so far
1.5 months of use and I'm extremely happy. Assembly was easier than I imagined. The person who gave this a 1 star because of flare-ups apparently needs to read a book on how to use a propane grill. That's like blaming a car manufacturer for road conditions. The only thing I don't like is how much play there is to the knobs... Somewhat difficult to zero in on specific heat levels.

Rogue XT 525 propane gas grill w/smoker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't real impressed with the instruction book for assembly. It was a combination of the model I received and the deluxe model. The instructions were in picture form only. The combination of the two made it a little confusing at times. After getting it set up and the grill seasoned, I bought some steaks. The grill seems great. It seems to heat evenly, without the "hotspots" my old grill had, and I didn't have to contend with the flare-ups , because of grease. The steaks turned out great. All in all, I'm very happy with this grill. I just need to experiment to figure out cooking times for the foods I grill, since this grill is so much different(in a good way) than my old grill.

ROGUE XT 525 PROPANE GRILL
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] FIRST I LIKE THE STAINLESS STEEL LOOK .MAKING IT A NICE CLEAN AND RICH LOOK … THE TWO DOORS NOT ONLY HIDES THE TANK BUT YOU CAN STORE ITEMS ON THE SHELF IF ONE NEEDS TO... THE FACT THAT THE SIDE SHELF FOLDS DOWN IS NICE MAKING IT MORE COMPACT IF NEEDED FOR STORAGE ……. HAS A LARGE TEMPERATURE GAUGE …. THE COOKING GRILLS ARE QUITE STRONG AND MAKES NICE SEAR MARKING WHEN GRILLING...…… ANOTHER NICE THING IT HAS IS THE ROLLING WHEELS CAN BE LOCKED FOR SAFTEY IF NECESSARY ………….. THIS IS AN OUTSTANGING GRILL

Overall, I'm satisfied with the grill and look forward to occasions when we're entertaining and serving food from the grill. There are a couple of annoyances that could be remedied with some small upgrades. I find it hard to access the wheels to lock and unlock then for moving the grill. When moving the grill I tend to grab the grill by the side shelves which come loose. When I changed the gas tank I found it a pain to get the metal ring that supports the tank back in the proper position.
But, so far, I haven't discovered any significant shortcomings and I think this grill is a good value.
