Description

This awesome barbecue includes the Napoleon stainless steel smoker box grill accessory. Its precise heat control will allow barbecuers to grill, roast and smoke at lower temperatures or turn up the heat for searing. Use its range side burner to prepare sauces and side dishes while barbecuing for more convenience. Its porcelainized cast iron cooking grids provide even heating and the perfect sear on food. It also has reverse grids for larger sear marks and grooved channels to hold juices against food while cooking to retain moisture. This model's folding side shelves allow it to be tucked out of the way for storage, or to fit into compact spaces like balconies and small patios. Had been looking to replace my old Weber with a new one but realized the quality of the current units was not like it was. The Napoleon on the other hand is even heavier duty than the Weber of days gone by and is backed by 15 year parts warranty. Still getting used to a different way of grilling as this unit is capable of a lot more heat than I have seen in grills before. Assembly was straight forward. As much as possible it is designed so that it cannot be assembled incorrectly. Only issue I have had is that the starters can accumulate moisture and need to be dried before the unit can light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Busterbark from Buy your Last Grill First! This grill is built right! It may not be the biggest and grate-ist, but the makers produced probably the last grill I will ever own. Having said that, I do miss my charcoal taste..but this is much less messy and a whole lot easier to clean! My only observation as an avid and life long griller, is I wish the smoke box had been made of cast iron rather than stainless steel. It would have taken longer to heat up but once heated, it would have held that heat in for a longer period of time. The free professional assembly was a welcome perk. However, I don’t think they assembled the cabinet correctly because the door doesn’t close flush. However, their floor model did.

I have read the instruction, downloaded the app and watched the video. I has taken me 3 hours and I am still not done with it. It has turned into a two weekend project! A long shot from 1 hour as indicated. I found the instructions very hard to make our due to the fact the company is trying to combine instruction from 4 different grills in this series to one manual. The parts have not all lined up and in some cases metal was bent resulting in difficulty assembling. I am hoping to complete it this weekend and want to be happy with it as this product is highly rated. We'll see.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eddie in 32B from Excellent grill just don’t have it delivered Was able to see it in person at my local store. Chose to have it delivered unassembled. Had I would’ve known that it came from half way across the country and not the local store then I would’ve borrowed a truck to get it that day. Needless to say it arrived moderately damaged and had to borrow a truck anyway to return it and get one from the store anyway. Assembly was a breeze and it heats up and holds temp very well. The warranty is great also. It replaced an older Weber Genesis and I think I prefer this over the new Weber grills. The quality looks and feels better.

Le mien avait des particularités avec son brûleur latéral, mais en suivant le plan, je l’ai monté comme un modèle de base pour ensuite avoir à retirer des morceaux pour passer ma ligne de gaz. Au prix payé ce serait la moindre des choses d’avoir le bon manuel… la pièce pour tenir en place le tuyau qui mène à la bonbonne est non fonctionnelle. Le une heure de montage annoncé se transforme plutôt en une aventure de 3 heures. Si non, du coup monté, on peu dire que c’est un fichu bon BBQ qui répond à toutes les attentes.

No batteries needed for burner igniters. Heats up fast. Excellent support from Customer Service. Cons: Expensive grill. Long assembly time even with good instructions. One part was misaligned preventing bolting. A neighbor, a mechanical engineer, solved the problem. Have to season the cast iron grates routinely. First steak I grilled was unevenly cooked, raw in the middle and well done on the ends. I hope this will be solved with more experience on where to place the steak and the grilling temperature.

I like the weight, the design and the fact that the burners light up immediately. Also, the LP gas tank is hidden from view and not hanging off the side on a clip. I cooked 8 slabs of ribs on Saturday and it took me half the time it used to take on my old grill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott from Well designed I was impressed at how well the grill was packaged. The contents were well protected and organized. Assembly was very easy and they used the same size screw throughout the installation, making this simple. I love how each burner knob has a separate igniter and that it shoots a flame across the burner tube during ignition to guaranee a fast light. I also love that it has the burners cross-connected, so if one burner goes out, it will reignite from the other burners. A lot of thought was put into the design of this grill. I only wish that it was built in North America, but the lower lines from Napoleon and Weber are built in China. The 15 year bumper-to-bumper warranty sealed the deal and I am hoping I get many trouble free years from this grill.
