I am building an outdoor bar and considering stones as my bar top. Honestly, am I crazy or would it look good, and would you have to glue the bottoms to the 2X4's as well as stone end to each other?

if you like the look, it's your choice. however not sure how would some of the wine glasses would stay put on the surface without care or avoid getting scratched
