Mr. Heater's indoor safe propane Buddy heaters have become America's most popular portable heaters. The 18,000 BTU Tough Buddy, with heavy-duty guard, is the perfect solution for heating enclosed spaces like large tents up to 450 sqft. Its tip-over safety shut-off switch and low oxygen safety shut-off sensor will bring you peace of mind, whether at the campsite, workshop, job site, or patio. Features a single control start knob with three heat settings, and two swivel regulator that connect directly to 1 lb. propane cylinders. To light, simply push and rotate the knob to pilot and the piezo igniter will take care of the rest, no matches required. With quiet, efficient, and odor free operation, you/ll enjoy years of comfortable indoor safe heat.

There are 2 versions of model MH18B. The manufacturer clearly states on their website that it should have CONVECTION (fan) and radiant (no fan--Cdn version) heating. How can customers order the US version?

I found it comes without fan.
Another store sells now $20 cheaper WITH fan...return.

Great alternative to electric heaters
I bought this heater in order to warm up my generator that I keep in my shed. In the event of an emergency and you have no electricity, and it's -25 or so, you will have a hard time getting your generator to start. My only critique is that the fan should be stronger...it needs more output. Otherwise, it would have got a 5...
