The legs are dipped chrome. The top is a gloss white. Mine came with a chip in it.

It’s definitely faux and I’m not sure it’s intended to look like marble and it doesn’t really.

Need to know if the mirror will show a person's full length? What are the dimensions of the mirror alone? Is it a bevelled mirror?
Hi Toni, this mirror will show a person's full length once you tilt it. Does a 55inch tv fit comfortably on this stand?
The open surface space is 48" after taking into consideration the top shelf overhang. It would fit however it would be be centered with the overall unit. Thank you.

Not life changing, but adequate!
I was looking for a sleek white desk for our front-room home office (it's the first thing you see when you walk in our house). It's tough to find simple, contemporary white desks (with ample storage space) at a decent price (particularly one that is 60" long, which is what I was looking for). I had my eye on one from CB2, but it was double the price (with outrageous shipping charges), and it wasn't as long....so I landed here. The desk wasn't easy for my husband to assemble. One of the pieces came broken, but Monarch (the company who makes the desk) had a user-friendly system for quickly getting replacement parts at no additional cost, so we had it within a week. He had additional difficulty getting the drawers to sit flush (there were several trial-and-error attempts, but it finally worked). This isn't exactly a heavy duty item (it would be easily damaged it appears), but if you're not planning on being overly rough with it, it should fit the bill (although mine has only been fully assembled for a half a day, so we'll see how it holds up over time. Side note: the drawer placement (right vs. left side) is totally changeable (I got the sense that the drawers would only be able to be located on the left, but I was able to situate mine on the right (in case this makes a difference to you).

Beautiful but back ruining
I loved this desk when I bought it 3 years~ ago. Unfortunately, I am now paying the price for it with back and shoulder pain.
The desk is wide and deep enough for my multi-monitor setup but...
Before you buy, be aware that the desk is almost 3 inches higher than the standard desk height. This means your standard computer chair seat height usually tops out at 22" inches which is too short for this desk. So if you are short like me, make very sure that your chair goes higher than 22" -- a bunch of cushions will only help for so long!

Great table!
I had been shopping for a hall table for a few months and I was happy to see this one back in stock. Shipping was very quick and the product arrived well packaged in excellent condition. Assembly was required and I found the instructions a little confusing. The procedure was broken down into only 5 or 6 steps and for someone like me who is not very handy, more of a breakdown would have been helpful. I did get it assembled and it looks fabulous in our front hallway. Glad I bought it!

Sorry I bought this
We purchased this online to use as an etagere for towels in the bathroom. When I put the level on it I couldn't believe it was telling me it was out 3/4", that is until I stool off to the side and saw how much it was leaning over the bottom part. Couldn't do anything about it as the holes for the bolts are pre-drilled, so couldn't adjust the top part at all. Unfortunately we discovered this when we were all finished. Had I seen this in the store I wouldn't have bought it.

Horrible time assembling- drawer rail instructions
I really like the functionality of this piece. Perfect. Assembly was humming along and then I discovered the instructions were incorrect- as assembled, the cubby for the drawers was too wide. Also instructions for drawer rails were incorrect. I gave up in frustation. We took it all apart and my partner finally was able to figure it out. It was highly frustrating to me due to time pressures in setting up my office and multiple pieces to assemble. I like the piece though!

Very nice and very white table
Just set it up yesterday and it looks great. Had a bit of a hard time with connecting the top to the bottom part but finally got it by turning the table upside down, which made it a lot easier to get the nut in place. Mind you I'm 71 and my fingers are not as nimble as they used to be but I did manage to put it together by myself.

More spacious than I expected!
I wanted to replace my existing home office desk as I needed to house a 40-inch computer monitor as I work from home more these days. Also, as I needed to replace my make-shift book case, I came across this option because it fills my two basic requirements -- An office table plus book case all-in-one! As an added bonus, the top of the book case not covered by the table is more than an ample space for my printer. Price-wise, it's reasonable and way cheaper to buy an office table and a book case separately. Installation was a bit difficult because the thing is heavier than I thought and I have no one but me to put it together. I even installed the book case incorrectly at first but it's not a big deal. I was able to figure out in the end.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!
