I am building a raised planter, but the back wall of the planter will be the cinder block foundation of my concrete porch. Will this product waterproof sufficiently to make a barrier b/n the soil and water in the garden box and the blocks?
Yes, the Watertite will act as a barrier between moisture from the soil, and concrete. Allow the Watertite to cure 7 days before it is expected to be fully waterproof.

I will be waterproofing a concrete basement wall and then glueing foam slab insulation to the wall with PL300 adhesive. Should I use the Watertite or Watertite LX product? Is there any risk that either product that it will not accept the adhesive?
Hi JWBZN,
Thank you for your question.
Either Watertite product should be fine with your adhesive. We recommend testing the paint on a stir stick first. Allow for full cure, which is 7-14 days, depending on temperature and humidity. Once cured, apply your PL300 adhesive to the stick and see if it dries and sticks. If your test is successfully then you should feel confident that the adhesive will stick to the painted concrete.

Can I paint it over existing latex based paint?
Watertite works best on bare concrete. It fills the pores of the concrete to create a firm barrier again water. If the surface is already painted, the existing paint should be removed before it is coated with WaterTite for best results.

Not to be walked on.
This says it's great for basements including floors. So I used it to hide some stains and followed the instructions for etching the concrete etc. 9 months later it's begun to peel up badly. I called the company and their response was simply, "you're not allowed to walk on the paint." Then why suggest it for a floor? Now I'm looking at stripping my entire floor to repaint it with Kilz oil based paint.

Great Sealer
I just bough this to coat my cinder block basement and I think it works exceptionally well. I had a few damp areas and it’s taken care of that, also with come concrete patches.
