Bought the Moen Model CA87315C kitchen tap in July 2011. The problem is water leaks from the ball that connects the flex hose connects to the hand sprayer. When the hand sprayer is returned to the tap, water drips onto the floor inside the cabinet!

This faucet was professionally installed. I tightened the Allen screw to tighten the ON-OFF handle when going from the OFF to the ON position. I reduced the free play but I was afraid of tightening it further since I might break the screw. Solutions?

I had this professionally installed. There is about 25 degrees of free play in the Hot toCold handle movement. How do I eliminate this annoying characteristic of our new faucet.

Is there a way to adjust water flow between the hot and cold water. Water is not hot enough coming out of the kitchen tap. The rest of taps in the house are ok.

I purchased this faucet in 2015 and replaced it in January of 2018. It did not last three years. Until the hose leaked (through the side of the hose not at the connection), it worked fine. This was installed by a plumber. We had no problems up until that point. This faucet had very light use, only one or two people lived in the house during this time.
Moen sent a replacement and were very polite. They would not refund my purchase. It is the same poor quality as the first one. I will not install another Moen faucet. If we had not found it quickly - it would made a bigger more damaging mess. Not a risk I am willing to take.

Moen renzo kitchen tap
Our tap broke about 2 yrs or so since installing, this is a very weak area of the tap...it should be reinforced in this area, the replacement i will put something around this area to make it stronger..
The good news is Moen Customer service is as good as it gets, they are sending the part out free, even with it being out of warranty they did not ask for pictures or receipt, took my word for it, i have a house full of Moen taps, and this is the first problem i have had, because of there great service i will continue to support this company...I have also went to there dealers and gotten free cartridges, its a win win with them..Thank you Moen.

Do NOT buy
Do not waste your TIME or Money on this faucet. I have had this faucet for over 1-year.
Time wasted: every month you will have to crawl under the kitchen sink to tighten up the nut as it loosens up every time you move the faucet from side to side.
Time wasted: The connection at the hand device loosens up as well and then, if you don't catch that quickly you will have a major water leak under the sink. And, then you get to spend your extra time sponging out the water under the sink. Or, you can do what I have done....I put a large plastic bowl under the sink to catch the water leaked from the handle connection.
Go spend you money on something else and you can spend you extra time NOT fixing this faucet.

Moen... Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. You have slipped.
Moen used to be the gold standard for faucets. No more. This model doesn't even have the Moen name on it anywhere - where the name Moen USED to be is now just a very tiny red/blue plastic stick-in dot on the handle which pops out at the absolute barest touch of a finger tip (or potentially a dish cloth). A plastic dot that won't stay in the hole. Yes, Moen will send out a new piece for free, but how many times over the years will a person have to call for THAT to happen, then wait for the piece to come. And Moen informed me today to NOT superglue the MINUSCULE DOT because that will impede changing out of the filter. Purchased yesterday, returning today.

The spout is too short
My main problem with this faucet is that the spout is short in length (barely reaches the edge of the drain which in my case is in the center of a double sink) so I have to lean in to use it. I"ll tall with longer arms so I don't see how this would be comfortable for anyone or how it ever got approved for people with disabilities. (I don't have a disability, to give you an idea how uncomfortable it is to use). Even though you can pull the spout out it should still be longer by an inch or so since you shouldn't have to pull it out for standard use. I paid someone to install it now I'll have to return it and pay again for the removal and install.
Also, no where in the specs does it give the spout length.

Terrible quality
2 weeks after purchasing this faucet the water started sputtering. It was only with standard flow mode, shower mode was unaffected. I called Moen and explained the problem and they told me that the wand was defective. They sent me a new wand within couple of days, hands down on their customer service, however after just a few weeks of working fine it started sputtering all over again. I am now thinking to return this faucet back to Rona as it is still within 90 days of their return/exchange policy. What happen to Moen, they used to stand for quality? And keep in mind this is 150$ faucet we are talking about...

It works. Read the instructions. I am happy
Install was straight forward. I'm a novice, first time home owner female and notice a dripi pipe became a flooded cabinet below the sink. options call a plumber wait 2-3 days or fix it myself. I watched a few really great u_tube bodies and went shopping. My only hiccup was the 3/8 in OD connectionsbwhen my in house connection is 1/2 in. Multiple trips, got the right tools. Did the install. I felt like I broke through a mental glass ceiling. Good thing too, cause within a week I changed my shower, did a behind the wall install and even changed a very ugly bath tub drain. Who knew I could accomplish so much and saved myself a ton a $$$.

form and function - beautiful !!
I cannot believe that I waited so long to replace my old outdated faucet. I absolutely love this product. I had read so many reviews for pull down faucets that were disappointing because they were the wrong size for the sink and sprayed over the counter tops.Fortunately, I had a great employee from Lowe's who knew exactly what I needed to accommodate my small kitchen sinks. The faucet is gorgeous, moves very smoothly and is easy to operate, with no messes. The pull down feature is easy to control, with push buttons for spray and/or stream. Once the water is off it naturally defaults to stream. This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time.
