How do I undo the filter? Can’t turn it due to square shape of faucet.
The faucet comes with a yellow plastic piece that's made to fit into the filter cover and act as a handle for turning it. You use it like a wrench. Push it up into the filter cover and unscrew it until it comes out. And of course reverse the process to reinstall it.

Nice Faucet...until it leaks. Moen = bad.
I spent way too much $ yet again for Moen but no more. This bathroom faucet didn't even last me 10 months and it started leaking. It didn't even do me the courtesy of a slow leak at first, a drip here and there. It starting leaking so bad I had to replace it in a few days because so much water was coming out. The leak is somewhere inside the faucet and water drips out the end of the faucet, so it's definitely a gasket issue or some cheaply made part broke inside.
I'm going to try to contact Moen about this but I'm sure I will hear nothing.

Excellent quality and look
If you're looking to spice up your bathroom vanity, look no further. The Moen Boardwalk series faucet is easily one of the best looking values out there. Installation is pretty straight forward and they include most hardware with it. I recommend picking up some plumbers putty before you attempt installation. Also, measure the distance from the bottom of your bowl to the top of your drain pipe. The included drain pipe was about 6" long and wouldn't fit the distance I had without taking the whole bowl off. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and so is the wife!

Moen is awesome
Let me begin by telling people I do a lot of home improvement. I have done tile work, faucet replacement, floor laying, electrical, you name it I can do it. I have recently been replacing faucets in a new house and bought a cheaper aqua source single handle faucet. The thing was a piece of junk, had all plastic body, with copper tubing that was sweated poorly and leaked out of the box. I bought this moen boardwalk faucet and the matching tub set and all the matching trim pieces. I could not be happier.
Water flow on this thing is gorgeous. It doesn't use an aerator like most people imagine, it has an aerator but it comes out in a pure water stream, no white washed water just pure clear water. The issue I had with the faucet initially is the hot handle not being completely tightened down. I could live with it, although, i am a perfectionist and had to call moen to ask them how to take the body apart so i could tighten it down. They informed me how to do it after a fruitless search on their website. I asked them on the phone what happens if the tightening doesn't work. He informed me without me asking he would send a handle replacement kit to me, along with free shipping. I had to ask for none of this. He even offered to allow me to pay for expedited shipping, I asked another competitor to pay for expedited shipping on their free service before and they refused, Moen offered without even asking!! I am sooooo impressed with their quality and their support behind their products I think i will be a moen fan for life.
East of installation was a cinch too, no complicated diagrams, simple instructions, substantial feel in your hands. This faucet is top quality.

The faucet fit the remodel.
The Boardwalk faucet model fit our remodel look perfectly. The purchase price was just right and it arrived with perfect timing. The design and chrome finish tie in very nicely with our house's 1950's look only better. The clean lines tie in with our original 1950's bathtub chrome faucet set and yet have a current look and appeal. The on/off turns feel tight and of a good quality. Even better is the fact that the cores can be replaced as need may require. We both love it.

Don't waste your $$
Is this the most expensive faucet out there? No. In the grand world of faucets, this is actually not a lot of money. HOWEVER, considering there are many faucets in the same price point that will continue doing their job for years, I couldn't possibley recommend this one.
We've had our Moen Boardwalk faucet for just over two years. About a year in it started leaking. Two months ago the cold water handle stopped turning - we literally can't turn the cold water on.
I love the style of this faucet so much I briefly considered buying another, but in the end I'd rather not loose another $100.

Master Bath Faucets
Previously had the builder installed single lever glass ball type faucets which were very plain looking and difficult to get correct water temperature. These Moen Boardwalk Crome faucets look very elegant, and a big plus for the Master Bath. Only negative is the drain which is supplied is plastic and difficult to seal properly to keep from leaking. However the plastic drain is pretty common and good point is it will not rust or corrode like a metal drain.

Check inside the box before you buy
Very low flow, low pressure faucet. Workmanship, just OK. I expect better from a unit that costs over $100.00. Be sure to check the integrity of both hot and cold valves as well as the valve "towers"..
