Midea 450 Sq-Ft White Window Air Conditioner (115 V; 10 000 BTU) is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel McTavish McGhee from Very Quiet I bought this AC a week ago. It took about 20 minutes to install in a Marvin double hung fiberglass window. I have had 100 year old wooden double hung and new vinyl double hungs that it would install in easily. I was amazed at how quiet it is. Basically about the same noise level as a room fan. It produces lots of cold air. It was 27C outside and 23C in my 280 square foot bedroom when I turned it on. One hour later the room was at 20C. Quiet, easy to install, lots of cold air, and solidly built. Worth the money.
