Description

This hollow-core door measures 1 3/8 in T. It has a 6-panel design to bring a colonial feel to your room entrance. Featuring a hollow core, the door is lightweight for easy transportation and installation. It resists swelling when humidity and ambient temperature change for smooth opening and closing. You can install this 30-in W x 78-in H pre-primed unit with or without staining or painting. You can paint it easily as the primer accepts paint easily. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty. This door comes intact without a drilled hole for easy customization with handles and installation hardware (not included).

is it possible to cut the door down to 76 inches?
I would recommend cutting an inch off both ends because there is a re-inforcing piece on all 4 sides. I wouldn’t want to cut all of it off at one end, because it might get to the hollow section. Also you want the panel design to be mostly centered.

Can you do the handle bore hole at the store? Does the door come prepped for hinges?
I doubt that the store would bore holes. I purchased the ones without holes for closets that did not need them. The door does not come prepped for hinges. You could use a chisel or router to recess them though if you’re handy. If you need the door with everything done I suggest getting them on sale with holes and hinge done.

Yes they do. 30" x 80" is another common standard size.
