Another game changer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought in April of 2020 for fencing. My old biker would t drive nails anymore and this was such a good deal at the green big box store that it made sense. The magazine capacity is enough for me to love it. Holds like 3x the nails my old one did. I will say to use on rapid fire you need a good compressor and I suggest Milton high flow connectors if you use any length of hose over 25ft. Also...not one jam in I’d say 30k nails. Weight is well balanced with a loaded coil and light for its size. If you try to go toooo fast you will get a few double fires. Overall I’m buying another!

Good framing gun
As soon as I opened box noticed the gun has several improvements. It's lighter and the head more compact for toe nail nailing. Also air discharge is better so may not bend like other nv83a4 Also the carriage is tedesigened. More heavy duty and plastic is reinforced where it attaches to nail advancer. That was always a weak break point on my other guns. Hope hitachi did their homework and this one lasts.

Ok, for a home owner grade tool
Not bad for a home owner grade tool, but does not hold up in the professional world. A lot of plastic, including the top valve, piston stop, low end piston bumper and cylinder guide....I would recommend paying the extra $125 and get the NV83 series, a true time tested tool

Had to buy a new coil nailer after my old Stanley broke in middle of job. Already had the 3" and 1.75" nails, gun is quite a bit lighter. Very happy with it.

Great tool. Love them
I own several of these. I put a lot of wear and tear on these. Let me tell you they don’t disappoint. 10 plus year pounding nail all day long. The guns being dropped, drag, in mud, snow, rain, all year round. The real issue is you love coil nailers or stick nailers. Hint Hint. You shouldn’t be buying these from Lowe’s or big box stores like that. You should be buying them from professional tool stores. Because if issues do arise, they can deal with it immediately. And typically they can fix it also.

All you need to get the framing done light and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had mine for over a year.and I don’t know how I got everything done with out this.I have never had it to not work but I keep it oiled up and it literally just like having a extra person working and not having to pay them.once you get used this gun will be around for a long time and you won’t be disappointed if you read the manual and pay attention to what you doing be safe. these things can save a lot of time and money but they will cause you a ton of pain if you’re not careful

Great gun Great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've have or have had almost every model hitachi framing gun starting from the NV8A3, NV8A4, NV8A5, NVA75AH2, including this model as well. This particular model is much lighter then the rest beside the NVA75, and very durable...I've this gun can take a beating and still performs day in day out! Absolutely a great gun especially when you factor in this unbeatable price. I like it soo much I just recently purchased another one.
