The MultiVolt 7.5 L cordless air compressor is improving job site productivity. With 135 max PSI and weighing only 27.3 lbs, this compressor packs usability into an easily portable package. Engineered with the power to drive over 1,000 18-gauge brad nails on a single charge, this compressor will work for the most demanding trim carpenter or remodeler for all-day use without the restraints of an extension cord. The air compressor gives users the choice to be portable on a 36 V battery, or work all day with the AC adapter when power is available. Finish crews can even run 15 Ga or 16 Ga finish nailers. At 135 PSI and 1.6 CFM at 90 PSI, you can get more work done with less weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cordless compressor is super compact ..very light weighing in at 27 lbs… can fit anywhere because how compact it is. Feels great in the hands It’s nice to just grab out of the truck put a battery in and get to work.. works great with the battery doesn’t drain the battery quick.. I would recommend buying this compressor if your not invested in Metabo hpt yet let me tell you. You should get invested I have Milwaukee and dewalt tools but I like metabos cordless framing gun and rear handle saw so much very soon I’m buying the tools I’m lacking and switching permanently . GO PURCHASE YOU SOME METABO HPT TOOLS!!!!!

I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have zero complaints. This is a trim carpenters savior and a punch list powerhouse. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think you’ll be running a framing or roofing crew off of it but for anything else it can’t be beat. Throw a battery in it and knock out you punch list or use the a/c adapter and work all week. It’s even great if you’re not a trades person. Air up tires blow off your garage workbench or fill all those inflatables for the kids in the pool. Well worth the investment.

It has never once failed to operate at peak performance. This Air compressor operates like a unit way bigger. It is taken all the abuse that we could give it from being in the back of my four-wheel-drive truck to the back of our Polaris ranger! From 100+ degree weather to severely cold and windy and dusty. Harsh climate but perfect performance. We work out in the middle of nowhere. So having a cordless air compressor that works at the level this one does is more than we ever could’ve asked for! To say we are pleased would be an understatement! Thank you Metabo HPT

Killer design and very lightweight per usual for Metabo. I was using it on a deck job for nailing off our hardware such as joist hangers & such. I put about 500 2 1/2” hanger nails through my strap shot nailer using this compressor. I burnt through 2 1/2 batteries to put into reference. So it can definitely handle light framing tasks but I could see it being more ideal for interior trim . I give it two thumbs up though, happy to have it added to my Metabo arsenal.

I had a competitor’s 1 gallon cordless compressor and gave it to a friend because the metabo is spot on. First it’s 2 gallon so it’s not going through batteries as much. The charging time is good. I timed both and the metabo was only 12 sec longer than the other but again the other is a single gallon this one is 2. The charging time with a full 4 amp hr multi volt battery was 1:12 sec. The on off switch, gauges and air dial are convenient the air dial has a push pull feature which locks it where you want it. Also vibration and motor noice are way better with the metabo. And last thing it’s very compact so carrying it is a breeze.

It works great and regains max pressure in about 15 seconds. We also decided to put it to the test and try nailing on some shingles. It would work fine for a patch job or something small, but did drain the battery fairly quickly when under the load of a roofing nailer. It is a fantastic compressor for trim work, low tires, or anything that doesn’t require a significant amount of air pressure for extended time.

I'm sure I don't have to go into details about how many ways you can use an air compressor but I have used this on everything from filling up sports equipment to blowing out AC lines to some furniture repairs. I love this thing. Battery life is decent enough for all the projects. I love the roll cage on this and purge valve. It small enough to transport and super easy to tote without sacrificing some decent power. All in all I am impressed with this thing, and I am super excited to use this in further depth. The only negative I can say about this is I'm pretty sure the plastics are "cheaper", BUT they don't look or feel cheap. I may be completely wrong on this. But

Rated 5 out of 5 by am_installs13 from Great cordless option This little compressor packs a punch. The 36v compressor is quiet but puts out a good bit of production on a single charge. We are a construction company here in Alabama and we are tough on our tools. We have been using this little guy on window trim and it’s been great. It’s a good option if power is out or you want to run pneumatic tools and still be semi cordless. We will definitely be looking into more metabo hpt tools. Great job guys.
