Mighty Power !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first impact drive and I love the power, and the multiple variable speed settings aside from the variable trigger. This is extremely useful, the power to weight ratio is perfectly balanced. Having the water resistant rating is also a HUGE WIN for this tool. I've been in rain in a few occasions and there is no doubt what so ever in regards to durability and reliability when it comes to rain. The hex chuck does need two hands to put in a bit, which hopefully, can be upgraded along with a ring type or 3 led's instead of the led it comes with. Aside from that, this tool is a BEAST !!!

Reliable and Tough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I gave it about a year and some change before putting up a review but here we go. I’ve done everything from fasten, cabinets, structural screws, and concrete with this impact gun and it never ceases to amazing me with its power and durability. I’ve dropped it quite a few times from high heights, scraped and bumped it into things, it still looks new. But this thing will send tapcons, ledger locks, timber, you name it it’ll send it. I have the 36v battery which is obvious a little heavier than it’s 18v Predecessor but I still find it to be light weight, it can take hits, and drive all day.

This hammer drill is amazing
I love this drill. I work in specialized Industrial Construction. I help build and repair Dry Kilns and Treatment Plants for lumber mills and pole mills. I chose the Metabo Hpt Multivolt line over many of the top leading companies. I done my research before buying this drill. With Hitachi and Metabo being owned by the same company I knew this would be an awesome well built power tool. On average we have to drill over many thousand 3/16" holes when we build wall and roof panels when we have to reskin a dry kiln. This drill with the 4ah battery lasts over half a day before needing to be recharged. My coworkers love the power the drill has.

Excellent drill! Contractors wanted to buy it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a homeowner/DIY guy and have a lot of the MultiVolt tools, probably most of them, now. I had some work done by contractors at my house. I was working on my fence and using this 36V Hammer Drill, the 36V Triple Hammer Impact Driver, and the 10" 36V Sliding Compound Miter Saw. The contractors took saw it and started asking about it. They couldn't believe the power and being able to swap the batter for the corded adapter. I showed them my whole lineup and let them try them out. They loved them and offered to buy some off me so they could take them to their next project. I didn't sell.

Metabo HPT just keeps winning me over
I was using the red brand's premium hammer drill these past few years until I got the chance to use the MultiVolt hammer drill. Not only does it match or beat the red brand's power and speed; it also seems to be better-built. Now that I own the DV36DA kit for myself, I will use it exclusively on the toughest jobs, especially installing anchors into already-cured slabs etc. (The Reactive Force Control [RFC] is an amazing safety feature.) And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the 4ah/8ah batteries and fast charger, which came with the kit: unbeatable energy, runtime and recharge. Amazing kit. Great value.

Super powerful and very fast.
This is an amazing impact driver, it outperforms most of the competition and with its 3 speeds and 4th mode is highly functional for any task it can be put up against. It works great for larger fasteners and for steel framing. I would recommend though if you buy one to get yourself a 2.5/5ah battery rather than the 4/8ah simply for size, I find with the limited selection of Multicolor batteries at this time it can be a little tricky to get those big batteries into small places to put this impact to its use. I would love to see a smaller MV battery in the future just for applications with this drill that require it to fit tight spaces. All in all though, would totally recommend it.

Incredibly Powerful Tool...
This Drills Power and long-lasting Run Time is just Incredible. I have never owned an battery operated drill quite like this. It certaintly has exceeded my expectations, it is the drill ill pick up 1st. before anything else within the Truck. The kit came with 2 Battery's however I've never needed to use the second Battery for any project I've been worked on, it has always made it through the end of the day. I absolutely would recommend this for any one in a Trade or just for homeowners use. I've been so, impressed with this product and Manufacturer that I've purchased several other MultiVolt Tools from Metabo for the Truck.

Powerful Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to replace my old 18V tools that’ve worked through a lot of batteries. Changing over to Metabo was a tough decision because I’ve always depended on another brand, although after checking out the 36V multi-volt tools, I think they’re solid, modular and more versatile. I already have a few Hitachi AC and pneumatic tools that’ve been good to me and gained my respect.
I just built a gate using both my old set of cordless tools and the new ones, Metabo powered through like butter in comparison, smooooth. I’m digging the design of these heavy duty cordless tools, feeling like a kid with a new bike.
