Does this saw come with a battery and charger

Hi there. No. The C3607DAQ4M is sold as a bare tool meaning just the tool and batteries and chargers are sold separately. It does come with a 7-1/4" 24-tooth framing blade and 5mm blade wrench. Since this cordless circular saw is a 36Volt model it can accept Metabo HPTs 18V/36V MultiVolt batteries. Check out item # 372121M which is 4.0Ah or item #371751M which is a 2.5Ah. Alternatively, any 36V MultiVolt tool can also accept our unique AC adapter (item # EC36A) to plug in if you want or need while your battery recharges as a backup plan. Once you have a MultiVolt battery- you can use it in any Metabo HPT 18V or 36V tool for ultimate versatility. Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Burty from Well done! Its for cutting wood and it does that well. 7 1/4" blade. Hybrid? no, it isn't. I can't find a gas engine on it anywhere, only electric. Pretty sure the blade is spinning the wrong way. Not sure where to switch that. I haven't used it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pemar from Very nice saw, highly recommended I wasn't planning on buying a Metabo HPT tool as they are not present in my nearby stores. This one was offered to me as a redemption of my earned loyalty points. And I don't regret it at all. I am not a contractor, just a weekend DIYer. It has ample power for me and I have never, so far, run out of juice. The feature of running the saw on lower speed makes it much quieter. The speed of cutting is sufficient and a perfect trade off. I was worried about line of sight as it was a problem with my corded saw but in this saw it is perfect. Professionals will cringe, but for me the addition of LED light is very helpful. Actually, it was on my have to have list. I wish the saw was lighter, and that the package would include rip fence. I had to buy it separately. For people interested in dust collection, the adapter is also not included. Those are the downsides but they do not merit the reduction of stars from my review. I also don't care about the colour of the tool but at least it provides some variety into my tools collection.

Being fullsize and lightweight and powerfully, I wind up using it all day for the most part, besides rafter day. 36v is more than enough power and I have the 4.0 ah batteries and I battery last all day and into next. Best saw hands down in cordless department. All their cordless tools are great, especially the drills

I can definitely say the upgrade was well worth it. This saw has so much more power, especially for ripping lumber. It also surprises me how long the battery does last in comparison to the 18v, it's very impressive. The build quality is also very nice, a lot less plastic and cheep feeling parts like the blade guard which I hope will hold up to job site conditions a lot better. Over all I'm very happy with this purchase.

I looked at all the usual brands but kept coming back to Metabo HPT, something about that green. Anyway I've always had corded saws and the old school me was like no way is a cordless circle saw going to be any good but after extensive YouTube research I bit the bullet and jumped into this 36V 7 1/4 circular saw. Wow, I was impressed; it's better than any of my previous corded saws. So happy I went with Metabo HPT. I think the price point for the features and power whether you are a professional or DIYer is perfect. Since purchasing this saw I've steadily been adding to my Metabo collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kimby from As Powerful as a Corded Saw I was especially convinced to choose this 7 1/4" circular saw as reviews mentioned how light weight it is and I have so many blades the same size from my 25 year old corded Skillsaw (which still works) to help me compensate the arthritis in my hands. Compared to my old saw the Metabo isn’t as light as I had imagined. Perhaps battery circular saws are usually heavier? But it is an impressive machine. The included manual is unexpectedly easy to read, straightforward and uncluttered. I underestimated the convenient absence of a cord. Even though I have enjoyed a cordless drill and sawsall for a few years (Bosch), there has been a compromise in power there. So I go to my corded tools when I need real power. The Metabo circular saw doesn't seem to require the same. It's easily as powerful as my corded circular saw. It also feels more balanced/stable. It feels and cuts like a precision machine. I'm glad for that as it's a few times more the price. I had misgivings investing in a new battery system, as my Bosch batteries are interchangeable between tools and the charger and batteries for the Metabo are near as much as the tool. Time will tell. So far one battery has been plenty. Whereas with my drills and sawsall an extra battery is occasionally needed to keep working. I would have liked it to come with a case. But the packages that included a case were near triple the price. Overall I am cautiously pleased with my purchase. It's only been a month.
