Rated 5 out of 5 by PaulB5t from Can’t do rebar without one [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I bought this bender/cutter about a year ago because I had a large mat slab to do with lots of bends and slab dowels into the foundations. Bent literally hundreds of bars so far and still performs like a new tool. Saved me the cost of the tool on the first job because I would usually go to a fab shop to bend bars. This tool is fast accurate and bends to more angles than I’ll ever probably use. Definitely recommend this tool for rebar up to 5/8”. Waiting for Metalbo to produce one that bends up to #6 bars so I can upgrade. If you’re doing concrete regularly this is a must have.

I work in the oil and gas industry and use this day in and day out and so far has been extremely dependable. I'm not using this as a harry home owner tool it is used constantly in an industrial Enviroment and has held up to anything my guy put it through

We do alot of volunteer work along with a general construction business. So we work along side ones that have zero experience with tools and this is one of the tools that we can confidently teach them to use and we know they'll be safe. Prior to this purchase we were using a cold cut rebar cutter and a manual bender. It was so physically taxing. We would have to hire extra people to do multiple jobs and it was getting expensive. Now we only have to hire one person or I can just run it myself for the whole job and the money we were paying multiple people stays with us and our business.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ipwalls from labor saver I have never payed this much money for a power tool,but this tool is worth ever penny.I can not belive how easy this cuts 5/8 steel and bends it. It does 90-and 45 degree bends with the turn of a switch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jordan808 from Reliable Hitachi product All good as normal. PRO- Easy cuts, good Angles, durable, a lot of power, not very cheap but you pay for what you get and its a beast. Worth the money!!! Con- only one con is that it's reverse is done with the dial that sets the degrees. It would be awesome if it had a quick reverse for custom bends that I do, maybe even for safety. Custom bends I still use my manual rebar bender. But for industry use this is the tool to use!

Primarily, because I was reducing the size of my crew to save on labor and saved I did. A foundation that took four to place three runs on rebar in, in a day was completed by two in two and one-half hours! It was not only done faster, but more accurately too. The more I use it, the more I can't live without it.
