Excellent tool. It is my favorite so far.
This nailer is a wonderful little tool. My arm would be wasted without it because of its ease of use and speed. Another thing that I liked is the fact that the gas cartridge lasts a long time. Two downfalls; it will stop nailing with 6 nails left in the chamber. This is a waste of nails on a big job. I can't even count how many nails i have wasted. Also, there are times when i have pressed down to nail and nothing happens after a few tries.

falling apart
used this nail gun for the past year remodeling
and the battery clip broke and is now held on by a bungee cord and the gun only seems to shoot when it feels like it... I like the idea of cordless tools because my projects are a little of everything but come on! I need some thing to work when i need it to! I clean it and keep it lubed up and have only owned it for a year!!!
I guess next time i will buy a paslode...

Convenient and balanced.
This is my first cordless framing nailer. It took some getting used to but I found it to be powerful and convenient. The battery life was surprisingly lasting, no need for a second battery. The tool is easy to use. I was a bit disappointed that Hitachi Customer service did not respond to a question I had emailed to them regarding the fuel.
Overall this is a good well balanced tool.

Great Portable Nailer
Bought this nailer so it could be used in remote area without any connection to air or electric. It works great. Takes a little getting used to, but just follow instructions and watch the Utube video. Need to load a partial nail strip (about 5 nails) behind the full strip in order to get full use of each strip of nails. also will work with just fine with Pasloade fuel container.

I like the machine
This machine allows me to work in remote areas where I use to drag in a generator and a compressor with air lines just to do a small job.
Now, I can do the small jobs without the hassle of dragging all sorts of equipment to the job site.

Does not fire at an angle
The first shot will not fire unless fan activated, so you have to bump it to activate the fan, then do it again to shoot. Also it shoots at a straight angle ok, however as soon as you tilt it to get to a tight area of your framing work, it fails to shoot.

Poor Final QA check in Factory
Purchased new - right out of the box the gas cartridge would not seat tightly in the gun which prevented nails from firing. It wasn't even close to being tight enough to provide pressure for the gun. I was really looking forward to using this gun, super disappointed. Returned this Hitachi for a Paslode which works great. Did NOT try the warranty return because I needed a nail gun NOW. A lost opportunity for Hitachi.
