Great for the price
I am a carpenter and handyman. For several years, I was a framer. I have a 10 year old Paslode, and have used the older Hitachi, Dewalt, Bostitch, Porter Cable, and a few others. I like this gun a lot, and prefer it to any of the others I have used. I have not used a lot of the new guns out, but I think that this gun is a great value. Light weight, very little recoil, easy to load. You do have to load it more often than clipped head nailers, but the nails are a little cheaper for this gun, than my Paslode or my partners Bostitch. I wish it had a rafter hook, but overall I would buy this gun again, and my partner is planning to get one too. I haven't had it long enough to comment on it's durability.

Very Depenable Nailer
I bought the round head nailer because the one that I borrowed was a charm to use. It saved me so much time building my front porch. I used mine to build a 12x16 shed and it never gave me one problem. I put oil in it everyday and some times twice since my compressure does'nt have an oiler. I would tell anyone to use a nailer because it saved me half the time it would of taken to build my shed. Use the safety glasses that comes with the nailer because of metal filings and plastic bits could hit you in the eye when nailing up above your head. Buy this nailer and you will be glad you did. No cons to report.

Not a commercial gun
I bought this based on reviews and price... Light, easy to handle... lasted about 2 weeks before it blew up. Contacted Hitachi service but never received a response in two weeks... Had to buy another gun ( not Hitachi) to move on... Took gun to service center and the guy laughed and told me what was wrong as soon as I put it on the counter... driver and bumpers.. he said they are all blowing up....bad design...that's why they are dumping them cheap...
Good thing is that it is so common the parts were all in stock.. only took a week to get it repaired. When I picked it up, I asked if this would happen again. He said "probably"
If you get one.. buy two so you have a backup to use when the first explodes.

Worth Every Penny
I bought this to frame a deck last summer and it's worth every penny. I borrowed a friend's cheaper framing nailer (from H.F.) to build a shed years back and that thing jammed constantly. So when it came to framing my deck, I figured for a little more money I might as well buy name brand, I'm glad I did. The only time it jammed was when the air pressure was too low and the compressor wasn't at the point to cycle again. I found that it countersunk nails more consistently when using contact nailing (rapid fire) than it did on sequential. For the price and the amount of times I would use it I'm glad I bought it. Since this uses the plastic collated it does leave plastic pieces all over the place. One thing I wish it included was a carrying case and tool oil. Overall, I am pleased with the performance and reliability it has shown me so far and I would recommend this to anyone.

Get the job done
I've only had this nail gun for a short time and used it several times around the house. Easy to use and reload.
I've drop it twice from the ladder on concrete floor in the garage, it still works fine and no damage done. It would be nice if it had a belt clip or a way to hang it on the ladder so my hands are free. That's the only negative thing I've encountered.

Worked great
I bought this gun with a bulk purchase of materials this summer. Worked great right out of the box. Drove 100 lbs of nails building my addition to my garage. Saved my elbows from tendonitus. Just remember to drop a couple of drops of oil in the workings every couple of hundred nails. I would recommend this to a friend in a heartbeat.

Hitachi Knows Nailers
I only use hitachi nailers and they are the best in my opinion. I am a professional roofer and my hitachi has been dropped off of the roof dozens of times, still fires good after 2 years of constant abuse. Hitachi's new gun is okay, but I prefer this one more. It looks nicer, is more compact, and it is lighter. Shoots great, full head nails!

very good nail driver
Drives those nails with ease, It is not heavy at all , shoots 2 inch to 3.5 inch nails --21 degree nails , single fire one nail at a time or just turn the switch and you get rapid fire , that is real nice when your putting down plywood decking ect. The price is fair enough , I have used Senco in the past and I think this gun is as good as Senco.
